About Position

Terafina is a digital-first, omnichannel account onboarding and sales platform. Terafinaʼs Omnichannel platform supports all channels (digital, branch and call center) across all banking products/verticals
We are looking for a QA Engineer to build a high quality product. You will ensure that the tests and reports developed using the automated testing framework identify defects and provide detailed information to assist product teams to triage and resolve issues.


  • Proven 2+ years of experience in test automation for Web application.

  • Expertise in one Test automation framework (e.g. Selenium) for UI and API testing.

  • Significant experience of software QA processes and methodologies/tools.

  • Working knowledge and experience some of the following applications: Git, JIRA, Postman, Cucumber,Jenkins, Browserstack , VS code.

  • Sound knowledge/experience of Non Functional testing like security and performance.

  • Proven ability to interpret results, identify trends and communicate appropriately.

  • Proven ability to handle various tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.

  • Primary Responsibilities

    • Work with the Product Team to automate testing of new features and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance,security).

    • Develop test automation scripts in testing automation frameworks, supporting CI/CD with automated smoke and regression test suites.

    • Analyse functional business requirements for completeness, create a thorough testing strategy for the feature.

    • Coordinate and manage automated testing efforts for concurrent projects and software releases, including coordinating test automation schedules, environments, and configuration requirements for assigned testing activities and provide feedback to internal and external teams.

    • Understand user profiles and likely usage bringing a user-centric and user experience aspect to testing.

    • Review new automation technologies for inclusion in our test strategy and framework.

    • Interact and co-ordinate with Delivery and Pre-sales teams on new product features.

      Technical Knowledge

      • Bachelorʼs Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent related experience .

      • 2-6 years experience or combination experience, education, & superior performance.

      • Basics of Java or any programming language.

      • Knowledge of scripting languages like python,ruby , NodeJs etc would be an advantage.

      • Knowledge of Salesforce platform/programming would be an advantage.
